What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

To get an accurate quote, please provide the date, times and location of the event. What equipment is required (sound & lighting etc) and if it's indoor or outdoor. What music genre are you looking to be played?

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Do your research, good chance the other DJs will have a website or social media page so look for the reviews from past customers, sometimes they will have photos or videos of past events. Does it meet your requirements? What experience do they have for private events, bars & clubs?

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

DJ Ryan Sargent (me) started as a bedroom DJ as a teenager over 20 years ago playing underground dance music. Since then I have had vast experience playing in private functions, bars and nightclubs across the north of the UK. I have a passion for music, although my main forte is dance music, playing house, club classics and mashups. In the last 3 years I have been so busy, almost every weekend I have been performing at some sort of event, through a passion and most importantly delivering an excellent service to my clients.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

I have had lots of bookings on Add To Event, from all over the North of the UK from Yorkshire, Lancashire to Lincolnshire. Its always great communication through Add To Event, you can really get that personalized feel with your client leading up to an event. I have done a lot of 40th parties, and also a college opening event in Doncaster for over 300 people, it was a great success and I find with those events through Add To Event, you get many repeat bookings and recommendations for others!
