LJ Mobile DJ offers a professional and full-time DJ available for events in London and the surrounding areas. He has over 10 years of experience as a DJ for corporate events, clubs, boat parties, bars, pubs, weddings, birthdays, and anniversaries.
What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For me to provide a quote I need a few things. I need the date of the event, what your expectations are in terms of music, the location and whether the event is indoor or outdoor and how long I have to set up/take down.
Once we have this information we would be delighted to provide a quote!
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I am a professional full time DJ, I spend hundreds a month ensuring I’m insured and have the latest music with the highest quality kit, I have invested more money into speakers and decks so that the customer has a better experience.
I gig at least 3/4 times a week and mix every track from start to finish. I feature regularly on radio shows and in extremely well-regarded venues. I also produce my own tracks and am in discussion with record labels about releasing tracks this summer. I’m insured and comms are professional. You should ensure the DJ you hire is professional and is insured, has a good mobile rig and plays regularly. All prices as with services are not equal!
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
I have been a DJ for over 10 years because I love music, my favourite music to play is house Garage bassline and breakbeats, however I can professionally mix all types of music and regularly perform at weddings and bars with specific policies for music like RnB hip-hop or more commercial pop style music, I love 80s music soul and club classics, ultimately it’s about me enjoying myself and providing you with the night and sound you want.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
As I am new to Add to Event I am still looking forward to my first booking but am optimistic the platform will help my business to grow.
