What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
Hi. If you require a video of your Special Day then, let Mel at Midas Video offer you a free quotation. All I will require is the date, time of Wedding, what you require to be filmed, i.e. preps, arrival, ceremony, speeches, cutting the cake, first dance etc. The package prices vary dependant on what you require to be filmed, so a short chat initially will help in offering you a fixed price. Obviously no charge or obligation.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Try and meet the provider and have a chat to ask lots of questions so there are no misunderstandings. Check reviews online from previous clients and look for examples of their work.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
I have been involved in video production for many years now, and Wedding videos for about 6 years. I create a natural film of the happenings on the day. I keep myself out of the way, shooting clips that the bride and groom don't see until they view the video. No posing etc. I leave that to the photographer. I also film clips of some of your family and friends giving you Wedding greetings. Which are often very amusing. The ceremony and speeches are in full video and audio. Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
I am relatively new to Add to Event and have only recently placed pics and Wedding video highlights on my profile. As my work is very affordable I consider this platform ideal for my type of business. If I were to choose one it would probably be a Wedding I filmed on New Year's Eve.
