Master Builders Parties provide LEGO themed parties, workshops & events They provide party entertainment for your children and their friends ranging from 5 to 11 year-olds, all based around the wonderful plastic brick.
As well as parties, they provide LEGO themed activities for a range of events from corporate team building to public family fun days.

What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For us to provide a quote to a customer, ideally we need to know the date of the event, some information about the type of event, Birthday Party or community event/fundraiser, an estimation of the number of guests and if a party the age of the birthday child. We'd also need an idea of the location, parties will need to be held in a suitably sized hall. Once we have this information I can recommend which of our services are appropriate.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

There are not many people offering similar services to us, but those that do have different styles to what they do so it is important to discuss what format the event takes. Ask the supplier how the event will be structured and what additional options they can provide. We only use official LEGO bricks at our parties and events, as the quality of the bricks does make a difference to to quality of what you create.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Master Builders Parties was started after spending a life loving creating with LEGO. Having spent my working life as a teacher and married to an engineer the educational potential with LEGO has always been clear. The first LEGO themed children's party I organised was for my twin sons 4th Birthday where I ran an activity alongside a bouncy castle and our parties and events have grown from there. The main focus of all our parties and events is making great creations with the humble plastic brick.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

I am still quite new to the Add to Event platform so am yet to book my first event. However the number of enquiries I get is fantastic, unfortunately being a small company our dates are very limited and so unless you are booking a reasonable time in advance you need to be very lucky for us to be available. The Add to Event platform is growing all the time and should become to go-to platform for anyone planning a party or event.
