What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

We like to offer a personal, attentive service. So we are able to accurately quote for your special event, please provide the date, the venue location, the times you would like your entertainment from and to, and approximately how many guests.
We are safety conscious and adhere strictly to H&S legislation and Covid-19 guidelines. We prepare a risk assessment and maintain keep within the parameters at all times for everybody's safety and enjoyment.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Ask your proposed supplier to provide proof of their quality of service, such as any association or body memberships, and if possible references from previous clients. Please bear in mind, many previous clients may not wish to give information to protect their data. Legislation around GDPR is very secure and it is not possible for suppliers to give contact information without the consent of previous clients, this in no way means your potential supplier isn't any good!
We are fully ICO and GDPR certificated, members of the FSB, and on the recommendation lists of many of the area's elite establishments.
Please remember - The cheapest supplier is not always the best option. You really do get what you pay for. I'm sure you believe your special occasion is worth a special supplier.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Mike Taylor started as a DJ many years ago when a friend who himself was a DJ invited him along to an event. Mike absolutely loved it! Creating a happy party atmosphere and seeing people enjoying themselves gave a buzz never experienced before.
From this, Mike worked clubs and corporate events and started his own mobile entertainment agency in 1983.
Mike has won National Awards within the industry and is acclaimed by fellow professionals alike. He always gives 100% commitment to all events, from your special Wedding day, Birthday or Retirement party, through to Children's parties where Magic and Puppets mix with Fun and Laughter!

It would be unfair to highlight a single party as we give 100% to all parties we entertain at, and all are individual. We always arrive early and set up & soundcheck before guests arrive - which has been a comment from quite a few clients who were impressed that we worked alongside other suppliers (caterers, marquee suppliers, mobile bars, singers etc)
