What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
We would love to provide you a quote, but for it to be accurate we need some details.
We need to know when and where your event will be and how long, how many people you expect to come, a basic description of your event (including anything that may be risky!) and if you have done this event before we would want to know how many staff you had and how many patients they saw.
We appreciate this is a lot, but this helps us to assess the overall risk of the event and give you the best advice on your tailored quote.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
The main things to look for is are the provider you are approaching confident in what they offer, and are they clear about what they offer?
Make sure you ask them what level of training the staff will have and how many of each they plan to send, along with any other aspects such as gazebos, vehicles, and radios.
Don't be afraid to ask for registrations to organisations such as CQC or the Information Commissioners Office, or confirmation of insurances. Any reputable company would be happy to show these to you.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
The event medical field is ever growing, with some exceptionally good providers and unfortunately some that aren't as high quality. We wanted to put our teams skills and experience to good use by providing event organisers a reliable and high quality service they can trust.
We also want to help educate organisers in how the event medical industry works, to ensure they get the right service and don't get confused by the terms and jargon which could lead them to overpay and over staff events when they don't need to.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
We've not long been a provider on Add to Event, but already we have received so many requests and love to hear about every event that you are planning!
We completed our first event from the platform on the 9th and the process for both parties was very simple meaning communications were kept easy and consistent.
On arrival, our team were welcomed and we had great fun engaging with the customers and the carnival. We have already been asked to return next year!
