What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

To be able to provide our most accurate quote some basic information we are looking for are, event date, start time, how many hours, how many staff, type of event and number of guests expected. Then we ask for a brief description of what the organisers are expecting from the security staff, searching, manning doors, crowd control. Using the information provided we are then able to put together a quote for the organisers.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

When hiring security for any type of event it is good if you are able to meet with the supplier beforehand to fully discuss what your requirements are from the staff on the day of your event. There are always questions from both customer and supplier regarding the event and are often best discussed in person. Email and phone calls can be useful but a face to face is usually more helpful.

I decided to start GB Elite Security to offer a complete solution security service for customers. GB Elite Security takes care of all your security needs when planning an event so you can focus on other services for your event. I have always worked in security and enjoy ensuring events are safe and secure at all times.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

We have not yet been hired on this platform, but have had many leads and discussions with potential customers that we have offered our services to in the future. However, we have provided services to many events and each one has been a success for both us as a company and the organisers and we have been offered the chance to supply staff annually at several events and festivals. I will continue to use Add to Event for business and believe it won't be long before we have our first hire on here. Would definitely recommend Add to Event to all service providers as it is a great way to find new leads for potential customers.
