What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For a complete quote we need hours required, number of staff required and an overview of the event to assess whether this is sufficient cover for it. Then we can proceed in giving an accurate and fair quote every time.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask for references if they have them, check the company accreditations and insurance as many don't have any at all and ask what events they have done similar to yours, so that you know you're getting the right people for the event who have experience in the field.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
SRM was started as a small business helping friends and clients I had already known that wanted a more customer service driven security company that cared for their clients and relationships. They wanted a hands-on management approach and to be able to talk to the directors each week - something a lot of companies lack. With these, SRM has grown and grown and our clients stay loyal due to the service we give them and the relationship we have with them.

All our bookings through Add to Event have been brilliant. The website is simple and easy to use and you can give a clear understanding to clients about what you do and they in turn can get the best value for money for what they are looking for.
