What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For us to provide a comprehensive quote to a customer, ideally we need the event date, a brief explanation of the type of event they are hosting, the job role, the estimated number of guests, and potential venue, whether it's an indoor or outdoor event. The age range or the majority of guests. From this, we can use our experience and expertise to put together a suitable equipment list and design.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Firstly, ask the provider about the product they are offering, ask for references, insurances and accreditation of staff that will be carrying out the role. Ask them about risk assessments and Health and Safety procedures.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
The business was started after there was a gap in the market for a high quality, experienced team of event security to deliver. Keeping the bar high and raising it where they can, not cutting corners like lots of the market. Priding itself on not just being another contractor, priding our-self on being part of your events team, being the same faces each time and building up a rapport with you.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
I would recommend it from minute one of getting set up. My inbox was full of requests and has not stopped. We have lots of jobs lined up that are all unique. There have been prestige jobs like one we did in London outside the Excel.
