What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
In order to provide your event with an accurate quotation, we'll need to know the location of your event, the number of attendees and the use-case of the WiFi. For example, are you live streaming or just sending emails?
It would also be good to know a little about your existing infrastructure, site plan and tent locations etc—this allows our technical team to put together a coverage plan for optimising the hardware required. Every event is different, and we take time to plan our solutions to meet your requirements before providing a quotation.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
The number one thing to ask about is the capacity. Are they going to provide you with enough capacity for what you need? If you have thousands of devices connected, both the WiFi and the 'backhaul' need to be suitable to sustain this level of traffic.
Ask also about installation, how are they going to install the solution, or are they offering a 'plug-and-play' option?
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
Bytes Digital started in 2013, originally as a mobile and telecoms provider. As the business grew, there was an evident need for 4G solutions, particularly in the construction and events industries. With the expertise Bytes Digital gained from supplying mobile communications, we branched out into 4G and 5G broadband and connectivity solutions, identifying opportunities in the construction and events industries.
Our engineering team are expertly trained in installing and supporting 4G, 5G and fixed-line connectivity for events—and with years of experience, you know you can trust Bytes Digital.
