To enable us to provide a comprehensive quote, we will need the event date and times, the type of event, the venue, the anticipated number of guests and how many artists are required. Preferably we would also like the venue, the age range of guests, and any particulars such as themes. This will allow us to quote accurately the first time.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Remember that you get what you pay for. The higher the quality, the better the experience for your guests. A good artist will understand the need for strict sanitation rules, understand the products that they use, be patient and approachable, as well as be a good painter. Painting is about much more than putting the paint on the face, and that's what you need to remember when looking at the price.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

I started painting for friends as a hobby a little over ten years ago. I dipped in and out of it, and as all good artists do - I doubted my abilities. Then a few years ago I took painting back up, and following an extraordinary year of success it has become my full time career and full-time passion. I now teach as well as paint, and I never have as much joy as I do at the moment of the mirror reveal. I can never see myself doing anything else, now.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

Although fairly new to Add to Event, I have had extraordinary success so far. I have confirmed events for all the spare dates in my diary, meaning I can now say I am fully booked for 2017, with 4 months of the year left. Add to Event is now probably one of the most important tools in my arsenal.
