What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

Typically for us to provide the most accurate quote for our customer, we need the event date, location to check for suitability, the type of event, duration of the fireworks, and if they would like it to music or a traditional non-musical firework display. This allows us to use our over 25 years of experience to put together a comprehensive quotation.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

The biggest thing we would recommend is checking they have insurance, and they are registered members of a recognised body such as the British Pyrotechnist Association. Then what previous experience they have in the type of event they are organising.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Fireworks traditionally could only be bought from Newsagents, as a family consisting of Newsagents with 5 competing shops, we decided to work together by buying a firework wholesale business and to supply our shops and as the business grew we created a dedicated firework company and grew into both firework wholesale and professional displays. Now supplying over 50 companies across the UK and producing over 350 professional fireworks a year.
