Country Fried provide a mobile, traditional Fish & Chip van in the heart of the Ribble Valley and the North West, creating a talking point for your guests at your event. With a brand new purpose-built mobile chip shop, they are able to bring fish and chips to your town, village or private function.
What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
To provide a quote for your event, we need your event date, a brief description of the event you are holding, the estimated number of guests attending and a potential venue. We can then use our experience and expertise to put together a comprehensive quote for your event booking.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure that the provider is able to supply the food you are looking for and can cater to your number of guests in a timely manner. Ask about the menu available and if there is any chance of changing something if you prefer an alternative menu to the one offered. Ask about their equipment/van as better equipment means they can make the food you are looking for to the best of their ability and quality is everything. Ask for any recommendations or read reviews left by previous customers.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
During the lockdown of March 2020, the inspiration for Country Fried came into existence. During this time I spent each day researching and learning more and more about the fish & chip industry until the day came to finally open our doors to the public. Our first night was a total sell-out and a great success, which has now grown from strength to strength each week, serving fish & chips to the villagers of the Ribble Valley. Just looking at the requests coming in from Add to Event since joining, we are very positive and enthusiastic about new openings for our new business. We are hoping that we will be able to help many people to celebrate their special event by taking away the stress of providing food to their guests and event. In our newly purpose-built fish & chip van, we're pretty sure we will be a great hit for any booking!
