What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
Firstly we need the date. We only provide for one wedding a day to ensure we have full priority to them only and for us, numbers of guests are very important. This gives us the scale of flowers needed.
Also where/what places flowers are needed for. These may have to be made on the site of the venue so knowing this gives us an idea of the timescale.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Experience is usually best.
A recommendation from a previous Bride is a great opportunity. You know the Bride has been happy and to forward on details is a definite yes.
Find one that will travel far if necessary.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
After working for several small family-run businesses I wanted to further my experience so worked in the Caribbean for 6 years. After returning back to the UK I had a baby daughter. This was a perfect time for me to work from home for myself. Best thing I ever have done.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
I have had several bookings from Add to Event.
The customers seem to know what they want and book quite quickly.
