Kay's Kitchen provides fresh, innovative street food using locally grown produce in and around Sevenoaks, Kent, serving from their vintage Citroen HY van which carries with it a fully fitted modern kitchen. Kay's Kitchen provides not only a wealth of savoury options but also a range of salads and desserts, including unusual additions such as creme brûlée and Seville orange almond cake.
What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
To enable the most effective response and an accurate quote, we need the date and time of the event and information on the venue such as whether there is power and water readily available. The approximate numbers of guests are also useful, as well as preferences on types of food such as vegetarian options.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would advise to ask about provenance of ingredients used and the inspiration for their style of food.

Kay's Kitchen is about using excellent quality ingredients and focusing on big flavours. We have grown to offer a range of food for quite large events but never losing sight of our desire to ensure really tasty food and high quality ingredients. Style is a big part of our offering with our vintage van at the heart of what we do. We hope our customers enjoy the whole experience.

We've done a variety of events such as some fabulous parties and outdoor events. It's a great platform for organisers and planners to negotiate the big world of events with everything at your fingertips and lots of clever time-saving tricks.
