What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For us to provide a comprehensive quote to a customer, ideally we will need to know the date, potential venue, the estimated guests, whether the event is an indoor or outdoor event, a brief explanation of the type event they are hosting, if they would like to hire the trailer or have a drop off service and whether they have power available. From this, we can use our experience and expertise to put together a suitable equipment list, design an appropriate menu to fit their budget and send a reasonably priced quote.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Firstly, ask the provider about the product they are offering, why have they offered you that particular product, how do they stand out from their competitors, do they have a company ethos, if so what is it. There is no harm in questioning a trader before accepting because they may offer you everything that sounds great on paper but if they can't back their product with decent knowledge, then is it wise to go ahead...
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
Your Healthy Options was born in the heart of Ashby De La Zouch with the love of food and catering to everyone's needs. I have spent many years in the catering trade and health industry to really understand what each individual wants and may suffer with. Therefore the YHO ethos is to use local, organic produce from local farmers or homegrown and truly understand dietary deficiencies, so when baking/ making my food I know that my customers will have a happy tum. We have attended many events including festivals, weddings and corporate that we feel our portfolio and quirk will out-stand from others in a similar trade.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
We have had a few events through this platform that have surprised us and would love to do again. We have currently been selected to take part in a festival in Barlborough Hall which we are so excited about and cannot wait to feed a footfall of over 3,000! We have catered for festivals such as Download with a footfall of over 82,000 all the way down to christenings with a footfall of 60. We are very happy with the Add to Event's service and how many emails we have received in the last year. Highly recommend!!
