Villaggio Pizza is a family-run business providing delicious wood-fired pizza in Sussex and surrounding areas and have catered for many weddings, parties and events in their converted mobile pizzeria van. The van is always a talking point at any event providing delicious wood-fired pizzas to your guests under a decorated gazebo.
What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
In order for us to provide a comprehensive quote we require the date, address, number of guests, the rough number of guests and the serving times.
Also to know that access to the venue won't be a problem. The height of our truck, including the chimney is 3 metres so we need to know if there is a height restriction or low tree branches for example.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Feel free to ask the provider anything you like about their offering. Whether it's to do with sustainability, for example or the number of staff who will be present. Don't forget to ask if there is VAT to pay on top of the quote or not.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
I bought Villaggio Pizza during lockdown when I got a little tired of the corporate grind. I wanted a little more time with my family and to make fantastic pizza that would be enjoyed by all those who eat it. So far, so good!
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
You really do get to meet some really lovely people doing this kind of work and we've had many bookings through Add to Event where the people who booked us and their guests have been so grateful and generous in their praise for our pizza and fantastic staff we have. In just 2 years with Add to Event we've done all sorts of events, probably the most memorable ( as a football fan) was feeding a Premier League team and their families!
