What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For us to provide a comprehensive quote to a customer, we would require a brief explanation of the type of event, date of the event, potential venue (indoor/outdoor), the estimated number of guests and their ages. From this, we can put together a suitable quote and equipment list, as well as further recommendations on the event.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Firstly, make sure to check that the supplier is reputable and are highly reviewed (check online), you want to make sure that you are getting the best value for money. Ask the supplier for any advice that they could give to make the most of your experience. Also, make sure you ask about the quality of equipment, better equipment means a better experience.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
SportyStars began around 8 years ago in Exeter, delivering sport and activities to Primary Schools. Since then, we have grown to cover most of the South West, following the latest trends to ensure that we are up to date. For the past 5 years we have offered more activities for adult and children's parties and events, such as bubble football, nerf wars, glow in the dark sports and various sport-based activities. We have a passion for having fun, and all of our staff are enthusiastic and excel in delivering the best event possible!
