What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For us to provide a quote to a customer, ideally we need the event date, location, type of event and number of guests. For balloon displays, it is good to let us know your budget and to help us get an idea of the design you like and pictures of ideas you have seen. The more information we have on the requirements the better.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure your supplier is right for you! Make sure your supplier completely understand your needs and requirements. if you are going for a certain style or theme, has your supplier done this before? do they know the theme? Sometimes it's not one shoe fits all, you need to shop around for the right style and fit. Check reviews of events they have done before.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
Being in the industry from a very young age I have had the privilege of working on many different events all over the world. Freddie Douglas Events was created after planning parties for friends and family. My passion was to be able to add an element to an event or wedding that sets it apart from the rest. Our equipment at Freddie Douglas Events has been handmade, this means there isn't another like it in the area!

Compared to other platforms I haven't been on Add to Event for long, but wow it is by far the best platform I advertise on! it's easy to use and with in the first 24 hours, I already had a booking. I recommend the platform to others who are looking to reach more customers.
