Oh my fudge!
Oh my fudge is a small family business, based in Thornton-Cleveleys that opened in 2019 with a plan to create fudge and have expanded to create cakes, bakes and ice cream. They cater for all events from markets, weddings, birthdays, business meetings, festivals and any other events where you need a sweet treat!
What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
We would need the date of the event, an estimated number of guests, any allergens, the location (indoor/outdoor), type of event (birthday/wedding/festival) and what type of food they would be interested in (sweet/savoury).
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask about allergens/ingredients. How do we make our products? What certificates do we hold? Can we provide different flavour options? How far are we willing to travel? What equipment do we use?
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
I have always enjoyed baking. While on maternity leave with my youngest in 2019 I became more passionate and decided this is where I want to be. I set up business in October 2019 left my permanent job in march 2020 and never looked back.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
I have not yet had a booking as I only signed up today! However so far I have found the site really easy to follow, I have applied for some events and have no complaints. Would definitely recommend to others.
