To be able to provide the customer with a comprehensive quote, we need a date, estimated number of guests, where is the event taking place and duration.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I would advise them to ask their potential providers for all the necessary paperwork (food hygiene, insurance). Then they should find out what sort of products and brands they are using to flavour popcorn, candyfloss and slush.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

PartyOnSlushyOn stared 3 years ago, as a bit of fun and extra income on the side of our full-time jobs. Then quickly turned into a passion. Being a parent motivated us to provide children with great tasting and colourful looking treats. When attending family events, festivals and fairs and serving different communities, watching smiling children when they purchased some of our yummy products are more than making extra money, it's heartwarming.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

At first, we weren't too sure as we struggled to make any bookings. Our first breakthrough was a charity event in Reading. It was a great day! Nearly 1000 people showed up. We made some friends with other stall holders as well as the festival organisers (they have contacted us this year again). We have recommended Add to Event to few of our friends, not only to get free credit (which is good) but to give others access to a great platform.
