What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
What facilities are available

We do have our own Hi-Tech Stick PA system suitable for up to 300 people with lights and a mixing desk.
Drinks rider [2 drinks per band member at clients discretion] is food available?
Is it an indoor or outdoor event?
[4] Does the venue have Public Liability insurance?
[5] ALL OUR EQUIPMENT IS PAT TESTED.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Importantly the client has the right to ask the performers to work with them to ensure that the set they play is in the correct genres and years ie you don't want a reggae band playing when you have requested AC DC?
Look for bands or artists with a wide experience of music or services they offer.
Check what equipment they have.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
I started playing when I was 16 now I'm 65 and still playing and singing, I have played on P&O cruises also.
I keep the band's music very mixed with all genres and years, plus up to date songs.
There are young musicians in the band also and they are session players so they can play any style of music. I am a songwriter and composer too so I have had some success with my songs being played by pro bands like the Bellamy brothers in the USA. I simply love playing for people and seeing them enjoy what we do...
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
We have just joined Add to Event but the responses have been thick and fast and we feel the band is well represented by them.
We are looking forward to a very busy 2021 and we have already got bookings for 2022 in place and I feel more are already in the process.
