The Feast Pantry provides beautiful grazing tables platters and boxes to corporate and private functions in the Peterborough, Oundle, Stamford, Fenland, Northampton and surrounding areas. They use amazing artisan produce and work with you to create exactly what you want.
What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For us to provide an accurate quote we would first need to know the type of food you are looking for. Sweet, savoury or both. We then would need to know the style for example "The Great British Feast" or "The Italian Feast". Next we would need to know the number of people and location. Then lastly it would be if they need the full package including set up, delivery, cutlery, plates and table decor. We charge a one time set fee for this of £50 but some people may prefer to do this themselves.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure you get an understanding of the ingredients used to be sure of quality. Try to be open minded and ask the caterer for what they think as they have often perfected a particular area so you will get the best possible service if you go with this option. Make sure to ask about any additional costs so that these don't creep up on you.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
I just LOVE food. I have worked with it for many years and I love to share that passion with others. I love the way food connects people which i think is most shown in our boards and sharing platters. Food will always bring a smile to people's faces. I like supporting local small businesses who provide the most amazing products and mix and matching a few new flavours with the classics as well as handing people perfectly matched food pairings.
