What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For us to provide a quote we need to know your date and location, which of our services they require, the estimated number of guests and whether they have access to a kitchen. From that, we can put together a beautifully bespoke table, board or box!

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Firstly ask about previous events they've catered to and about what stands them apart from other providers. Find out where their produce is sourced and be realistic in what they expect for their budget.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

The Moveable Feast started during lockdown providing Grazing Boxes, we loved putting them together so much that we decided we wanted to scale up our Grazing tables and boards. We're passionate about local produce and given our location we have access to some beautiful produce from North Yorkshire, Durham and Northumberland.
From start to finish we love planning tables and boards for small to large events!

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

Gosh, we've had so many! One of my personal favourites was an event recently, we catered to a lovely couple celebrating their engagement at a beautiful estate in Richmond. We set up a stunning table to feed 60 brimming with everything from artisan finger sandwiches, homemade winter vegetable frittata, juicy garlic King prawns, a very generous selection of local cheeses, our own pickles and chutneys, oily Green olives and herby sunblush tomatoes, luxury crackers, our own fresh baked honey and walnut bread and much much more.
We layered the tables using our handcrafted boards and the whole set-up looked beautiful finished with our signature olive branches, Gypsophila and some added soft pink roses.
The couple were so happy they booked us for their Wedding!!
