The Jolly Shire provides a horse trailer bar finished to an exceptional standard covering a 50-mile radius of Bedfordshire. They offer a range of different services whether it be a prepaid bar, partial prepaid, tokened, cash and card or a complete package deal supplying your welcome, table, toast and evening drinks.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure they're clear on exactly what service you will be receiving for the price you have paid, sometimes there will be hidden extras you haven't anticipated for.
Make sure they are punctual and professional, the last thing you want is to be left high and dry at your event with no drinks.
The most important of them all is to make sure you love the aesthetics of the bar and the presentation of the staff that will be serving you your drinks.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
The Jolly Shire was created by myself and my fiancé after spending a combined 20+ years in the industry which is how we met 8 years ago, we wanted a new venture that we could make work around our new family and provide the same exceptionally high service to our customers that we were used to and still have the job satisfaction. We had been working our socks off to buy our first home and turns out we saved a little more than we needed so we decided to invest in a horsebox conversion and haven't looked back since.
