What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Give as many details as possible just saying I need a bar doesn’t really help as much detail as possible inside or outside easy access tricky access numbers of people it all helps.
Talk to the people on the phone it’s 5 mins of time but can help iron out small details in seconds
Ask questions to more than one provider get different quotes don’t just take the first one on a whim
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
I started the copper tree bar after I had my baby, Kenny, I’d been a retail manager for 10 years and rather than go back to the full-time day job I wanted something part-time to start with but things have gone mad so I’m almost full time but I’m at home planning with my son so it’s not all bad.
I wanted to build something that I was proud of and up to now, I’m exceeding everything I thought I would do which is amazing for everyone involved.
I’m actually loving my job now more than at any point in my previous career
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
2 bookings actually stand out that we have done through Add to Event. One was a charity fund raiser quite last minute which we managed to pull off and tried to help in any way we could. The second was just last weekend and a Caribbean themed birthday party with a steel band and everything and the sun was shining!
