It is helpful to know if there is electricity on-site and access to water is also helpful.
What the access to the site is like and what space is available can also be important especially with the horsebox.
With the indoor bars, it's also handy to know what space is available and access and location of the bar to power points and also if we are setting up and serving out of the existing kitchen? Or a hatch, what size?

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

When booking a mobile bar especially if it's for your wedding and you have a lot of guests, we would strongly recommend checking if the lagers and beers are on draught and not just bottles, also check that they are going to be chilled properly.
The number of staff with the bar is also important as guests don't like to be waiting too long.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

The Wonky Donkey mobile bar started over 4 years ago now, we have been in hospitality and pubs for years wanted to try something different and having converted the trailer ourselves were able to make sure it was really spot on and a great addition to any event. This has proved to be the case as we are receiving rave reviews and lots of recommendations. We have now added a blue one and also our gazebo bar is very popular. We also have indoor bars which are great for weddings and birthdays as with the horsebox they come fully stocked and with such an experienced team we are able to offer a very good reliable bar service

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

It was a friend with a crepe wagon who recommend Add to Event to us and we are so glad they did as we get so many bookings through this site. It also allows us the opportunity to look at a broader market and we have gone on now to do numerous weddings and parties through bookings we have obtained through Add to Event. We would certainly recommend it to others to use as it has loads of work apps and the site is really user-friendly.
