What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

To enable us to provide the best quote we possibly can, we need to know the date of the event, the type of event, an estimation of the number of guests, whether water and electricity are accessible, a rough venue location, what kind of style you would like your event to be based around and if you have any special requests in mind. This information is so important because it gives us a real picture to work from and allows us to tailor and personalise our quote specifically to your needs.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

If you are going to hire a bar, firstly you make sure that the people running the bar are fully insured and licensed and are registered to their local council. Secondly, the customer should ensure that the bar has a 5-star hygiene rating. The customer needs to consider what style of bar they want and also take into account their guests wants and needs. Ask to see the bars drinks menus before finalising your booking! At the end of the day, you will be the one consuming their drinks so make sure the quality and range of choice are what you want for your event.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Back in 2018, I was tired of working with horses and as much as I loved it knew it was not a job I could forever, I wanted a career change, something which could open many doors & had the ability to grow. That's when I came up with the idea of transforming a battered old horsebox into a working mobile bar! Whilst we were creating the bar I got a job in hospitality and started to expand my knowledge on everything I possibly could, the passion & drive was like no other! Twisted Trailers was created and went from a dream to reality, we now have two beautiful bars available for hire and are currently creating our third project. My future plans to branch out into the food industry too as food & cooking is another big love of mine!
