What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
To help us obtain the best quotation price for a customer, we will always need to know the number of guests they want served, a rough time of serve such as afternoon or evening and, of course, the date. The full venue details including post code are also helpful. This will help us find the best value quotation we can offer.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
The most important things when looking to hire an ice cream cart, especially for a wedding, is the experience of the vendor and of course the quality of the product. Always check where the Ice Cream is from as there is a major quality difference from a properly-made Dairy ice cream rather to a cheaper alternative. Also, a company with experience is of course going to serve your customers much quicker and better than a company that has not had a lot of practice.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
We are a third generation Ice Cream Vendor with over 50 years of experience within the trade. We are passionate about what we do and that's why we have been doing it so successfully for so long!
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
We have had lots of bookings through Add to Event, from school fairs to weddings to large corporate events. These have been situated indoors at schools, outside at hotels and also stately homes. We have attended events hosted by corporations of all industries and again served in open field Marquees!
