What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For us to provide a comprehensive quote to a customer, ideally we need to know the event date, the type of event, how many guests are expected to attend and the location of the venue.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Firstly, ask the ice cream supplier if they have experience in covering the type of event you want to hire them for, ask about the products they have on offer and also ask what hygiene rating and food safety certificates they hold.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
Wonderful Whippy Ltd has been running for over 5 years, during which time I have never lost my love for the job and seeing the look on the faces of children when I arrive!
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
Since joining Add to Event I have had many bookings from it - from large public events, football and sports tournaments, carnivals, business open days, school fairs and treat days to birthdays, christenings and weddings. I find Add to Event to be a great way to pick up more work and cover a larger area.
