What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
To provide a comprehensive quote, we need to know what the attendance will be, the date and time required and any special requirements. It's also helpful to know what type of event it is, the type of the venue, and whether they would like a full window or just certain items provided.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Check that they have all the right paper work, they understand what they are engaging in and comply with your requests. That's why we say 'our most important event is your event'. It's important to help make an event a success as you represent the organisers when you take part - professionalism is key.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
Lorenzo's Ices was a product of expanding on the same old Ice Cream Van. We have tried to create a gelato experience from an ice cream van rather than a shop. We offer over 29 different flavoured sundaes or ice cream boats, 13 twin cornets and ten single cones. The selection took many hours creating and tasting to get our menu just right, so there should be something for every one - from a 99 to an after 8 boat!

We have covered many events in the past with over 17 years in the industry. Whether it be a party for A VIP, corporate event, village show, antiques fair, or sports day at a school, the best thing is when someone says 'thank you that was fantastic!' - nothing beats it!
