What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

We would love to serve you delicious award winning hand-scooped ice cream at your event!
Please provide us with the date, location, time of day required and approximate number of guests and we will get back to you asap with a quote. It is also useful for us to know what kind of event it is as that gives us an idea of how long we will be required. Gigi can drive 20 to 25 miles from Brackley NN13 (or further by arrangement for an additional cost by trailer)

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I would ask your supplier about their ice cream, where it is sourced from and what ingredients are used in making it. Our Ice cream is the best quality artisan ice cream and you can really taste the difference! Sustainability is also important, what kind of tubs and spoons are used? All our tubs and spoons are compostable, recyclable, and biodegradable.

Also ask your supplier if they are silent or require a generator or the engine to be running? Your wedding or garden party may not want a noisy engine running for several hours whilst serving ice cream! We require no power or engine to be running ..

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

I love everything pink and vintage and following a personal tragedy in early 2021 I was given an opportunity to take over this beautiful van. I ran my own very successful cupcake van for many years and really missed being out on the van and the wonderful customers.

I have a passion for providing a superb service and an outstanding product. I will not compromise on the quality of the ice cream, or the customer experience. The van is maintained to the highest standard and reliability is absolutely key to me, a 51-year-old vehicle needs to be really well looked after mechanically and also cosmetically inside and out. No one wants a badly maintained, tired-looking ice cream van at their event. Having an ice cream van at your wedding or party is such a wonderful, nostalgic event for people of all ages and creating that magical moment is so important to me!

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

We have had lots of bookings through Add to Event and I would definitely recommend it to others!

So many events come to mind, but it is always a special privilege to be part of a wedding celebration. During this summers heat wave we have been a very welcome addition to a warm afternoon! On Saturday we were at one of the warmest weddings of the year, and all the guests were thrilled to see us -plus they were amazed and the huge choice of ice creams available - everyone also mentions how beautiful the van is and how they love the roses and fairy lights. They are also amazed at what great condition she is in for a 51 year old vehicle!

I think our customers are particularly pleased that we are silent and do not add any noise to their event! But most of all they love the amazing hand made ice creams!
