What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For us to provide a comprehensive quote to a customer, ideally we need the event date and time, a brief explanation of the type of event they are hosting, the estimated number of guests, and potential venue. From this, we can use our experience and expertise to put together a competitive quote.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

We hold £5 million public liability insurance and a 5-star food and hygiene rating from the local authority. All staff are fully trained in all duties which have led us to gain this rating. We cater for all sized events and our vans have a wide variety of stock to accommodate everyone's taste. We would advise that you check all these things about a provider.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

From a young age, I always enjoyed the jingle of the ice cream van coming up our street. Since leaving college I worked in the retail industry and enjoyed the face to face contact with many people. I have combined both of my passions together to form this business which has grown through recommendation.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

I have had lots of enquiries and bookings through this Add to Event and think it is a great platform. If I had to pick one, it would be a corporate event in Birmingham, who have since booked us on several occasions. We catered for 550 people, and we had so many positive comments from the directors!
