What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For me to provide a quote I need a postcode, set up choice (any igloo, outdoor picnic, outdoor movie night), and date of the event.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Firstly, ask about the product they are offering. All of my setups come with everything included in the imagery (minus food) provided at the cost listed. There's no 'extras' for decor etc. and so no hidden costs. I always recommend speaking to someone on the phone too - you can learn so much about a person through a phone call!
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
Oxford Garden Cinemas was created when I tried to host my own 'Valentines Movie Night' for me and my partner. I struggled to find a local company that provided not only the equipment but a wow-factor setting. Oxford Garden Cinemas was born, and my decor infatuation ignited. I'm incredibly excited to create unique and beautiful settings for your parties.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
My latest booking was through Add To Event and she was just the loveliest woman; a kind soul. I set her up a garden dining pod towards the end of Storm Eunice and they had a wonderful dinner celebration.
