What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
Type of event ( office catering / garden party / birthday party / celebration etc… ) preference of cuisine ( 1st preference, 2nd preference ) date, time, expected numbers, type of service required, additional service required ( photographer / DJ / close up magician / florist / toast master / cocktail maker or bar service.
It’s more convenient to deal with 1 supplier rather than 2 or 3 suppliers at the same time. It saves money and hassle.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Look at past events.
Hire a specialist in their field. Nobody can do everything.
Have absolute clarity in the contract to avoid misunderstanding.

Mint leaves was started in 1998 by Sunil Deshwal, a well-known name in Indian catering. Having graduated in India and masters in food and beverage management from the USA, further studies in France. Before starting Mint Leaves Catering, Mr. Deshwal has gained experience working with Inter-Continental Hotels in India, Jordan and France for several years.
Mint Leaves is proud to be associated with London Olympic 2012 ( we were the only Indian caterer in ExCel London, Man United, The Oval, Twickenham Stadium, The Roseball, Newbury Racecourse, Sophia Garden- Cardiff, Edgbaston Stadium, ExCeL London………… just to name a few.
