What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For us to provide a comprehensive quote to a customer, ideally we need the event date, a brief explanation of the type of event they are hosting, the estimated number of guests, and a potential venue, whether it's an indoor or outdoor event as well as access to power and water. From this, we can use our experience and expertise to put together a suitable equipment list and design a menu etc
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Firstly, ask the provider about the product they are offering. Ask the provider about their menu and why they are serving what they are serving. Also, find out about how they plan to prep the food, will it be part prepared on arrival and finished off at the event, also how long would it take to serve the guests to determine if people would need to queue.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
My business was created from the passion I have for making authentic Indian foods and to feed like-minded people who have a taste for homemade, flavoursome dishes and willing to experiment by trying lots of different flavours, textures and tastes from all regions of India.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
Great platform for showcasing your services. I’ve had lots of inquiries through Add to Event and it’s so easy to get updates on each of your bookings. One of my best bookings was for an annual Community Fayre getting a range of services from Funfair to petting animals and opportunities to serve a great variety of foods, desserts and local craft stalls. I have recommended Add to Event to all my catering friends, and they have been pleased with their experiences.
