What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

To provide a Comprehensive Quote for our customers we would need to know What the customer needs for their event. As we offer one item to a bespoke package. we would need to know the following:-

Items required. ( this can be one or more items to create a package)
Date
Start and finish times
Address and postcode also any access restrictions. i.e lifts, stairs, parking
Indoors or outdoors
Number of Guests

We use all the information provided to ensure the customer needs can be meet and a fair and realistic quote is provided. Using our knowledge and experience allows us to work with our customers, offering suggestions and alternatives to help with their event.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

If you are looking to hire an inflatable or book a Disco you want to be sure you have picked the right company.
Do your research before committing to a booking, this will give you a good idea of a fair price and what to expect from your provider.
Ask the provider if they have PLC, Pat tests, Risk assessments,etc.... all good providers will and they would be happy to provide copies if required.
Ask the provider if they would be happy to do a site survey if you feel you need one.
Are there any reviews or recommendations you can look at. Can you go and see the provider at another booking?
Have they got the experience needed to cover your event? Some providers are new and just starting out,
so If you do decide to go with a new provider give them as much info as possible to help them provide you with good service and negotiate a fair price based on their experience.
A good provider should be prepared to ask and answer questions, provide information, be contactable,
respond within a reasonable time, and provide realistic quotes ...provide a professional service.
If you are on a budget try to book a local provider, as these will often be cheaper. Most good providers will not normally charge to travel in their local area.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Bouncyrascals was set up after I was let down by an inflatable company for my sons birthday.
Having worked as a DJ on the London circuit myself, and with a load of inflatables, I was able to provide entertainment for the boy's party. The idea of combining Inflatables and Discos as a business was born.
It meant I could indulge in my passion for music and entertainment by providing a reliable service
meeting people and making memories to look back on....all doing what I loved.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

Not sure where to start here... just like any business you need to grow to survive but I wasn't sure at first if this platform would help generate work and expand our customer base...but I did not need to worry. Since being on Add to Event we have had a number of bookings confirmed, and I'm glad to say a number of these customers have been in touch since for repeat bookings.
The last one being for a "Dinner and dance" night for a Boat club in Cambridge for approx 100 people.
The customer had a number of requests and ideas for the evening , all of which we were happy to carry out. The customer was very happy and has since re-booked for next year.
There are a number of Lead sites but Add to Event is by far the best for our business, its layout and details are easy to use and understand, communication with our customers is simple and uncomplicated.
