What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
We would like to know the date, location and estimated number of guests, available power supplies, whether we will host inside or outside.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Please make sure they have suitable insurance and licences and that the venue has a TENS licence. Ask about the cost of drinks and if they use plastic glassware. Check their reviews and comments from previous customers.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
I started this business in lockdown 2020. When I purchased an inflatable pub for my dad's garden as the pubs were shut.
Someone asked about hiring it when restrictions were lifted. From that, the business has grown to 3 inflatable pubs, inflatable nightclubs, horsebox bar, black cab bar and 25 mobile bars. We have been featured in national papers and magazines winning 2 awards at the UK business awards.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
We have had a couple of wedding bookings through Add to Event. I would recommend picking wisely which jobs as some end up just enquiring and credits may be wasted.
