What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For me to provide a comprehensive quote I need to know the date and full venue details. If the venue is abroad, the proposed flight and transport details. Event start and finish timings also load of equipment and breakdown timings. Loading of equipment assessment. Is Parking available for band and crew? The type of event. The number of guests. Any special requests/requirements. Who is providing production (lighting, PA and staging if required)? Will refreshments be provided on-site for the band and any crew.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Try to get to know your provider a little. Find out if they are flexible and understand what your needs are.
If you can have a face to face meeting before booking then all the better.
Find out what they need to give you the best that they can.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

I started singing 30 years ago and love to perform at events and entertain.
I also found that knowing that there was often a lack of understanding as to how music can make or break an event and with the experience l gained throughout the years l know how quiet, loud, background or foreground my music should be.
