What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For us to supply a comprehensive quote we require the following.
Event location, date, number of guests, event type, start and finish time.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I think it really comes down to budget and what the customer really wants. If you're on a shoestring budget you will be able to get a provider cheap but the quality won't be amazing, though if you were to spend just that little extra you'll be surprised what you can get
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
Over a decade ago, I was looking to hire a karaoke service for an upcoming event for a client. After scouring the internet, it was apparent that there were no premium karaoke solutions on the market—just cheap, low-quality options, so I built my own.
I'm proud to say that since then, The Karaoke Company has grown into one of the most successful karaoke companies in the UK. We've helped thousands of clients create unforgettable experiences at their events and have been featured in publications like Radio Times and BBC.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
We have had a few bookings through Add to Event, and even if a job doesn't appeal to us we always see what's coming in which helps us understand the market demand for certain services and ultimately helps us make decisions about what new services we may want to offer.
