What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For us to provide a comprehensive quote to you, ideally we need the event date, a brief explanation of the type of event you are hosting, the estimated number of guests, potential venue, length (in hours) of event and whether it's an indoor or outdoor event.
From this, we can use our experience and expertise to put together a suitable quotation for your event.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Firstly, have a good idea of what you're looking for and put that in your Add to Event request. We have such a wide range of sound and light support services, from DJs to full stage concerts and shows - we'd be delighted to help you with your event.
Give us a brief description of your requirement in the notes section - that will help us when it comes to discussions and quotations.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
We started as a small provider of sound and light services to our local community, providing support for small events, functions and shows. This rapidly expanded into a much wider geographical area and the size of the events also grew at the same time. We now support events over the whole of Aberdeen City, Aberdeenshire and Morayshire - big and small.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
We've only just started using Add to Event and so far we've had quite a number of bookings through this platform.
If I had to pick one highlight, it would be our gig with a Rock Choir group, held in Aberdeen.
We had 200 people on the night, and they all came for a good time and to sing! The night and the reviews were amazing, they sang their hearts out "en-masse" to just about every song we played.
Everyone left very happy at the end of the night and are using us again for their next year's event. I have recommended and recommend Add to Event to all my friends, suppliers and customers - great platform.
