What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
To be able to provide you a comprehensive quote, I need your event date, your chosen service and venue. I'll also need to know what service you're interested in and which option you think suits you.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would suggest that you look through their portfolio and make sure you like their work. Each artist has their own style, so if you don't like the style of their other paintings, chances are you won't like ours either!
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
I have been a professional artist for over 10 years now. I made the decision to become a live event artist after planning my own wedding, and realising how much I loved them! I enjoy bringing people entertainment and I can do that with live painting!
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
I have had so many bookings through Add to Event, but my favourite was one near the seaside. I had plans with the couple to paint a beach scene, but the weather was awful! There was no way the bride could go out in that, so I went out and took some pictures myself, got some pics of the family inside and painted them as if they were outside anyway! The couple loved the end result and couldn't have been happier. That was a great day and a beautiful wedding.
