Charlie Brookes Magic Mirror and Photo Booth offer photo booths at private parties, weddings and corporate events, as well as at school proms, charity events and pretty much any event or venue you can think of. They will provide a thoroughly professional service from start to finish and cater to clients' requests and exceed their expectations
What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
Whatever your event I will have the right photo booth for you. What I need from you is the date, the venue and the number of hours you'd like. It also helps me to know if the venue has any access issues like stairs and if the event is indoor or outdoor.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
If you are looking for a photo booth you need to make sure they are insured and their equipment is PAT tested. You also need to know if the photo booth has an attendant and how many prints and if you get other extras like guest books and a digital copy of all the photos.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
I was in a career for life but following an incident at work I could no longer perform my duties and was medically retired. It was obvious I could never work for someone else and so I decided to buy a couple of photo booths. That was in 2016. Charlie Brookes was born and it was named after my two children- Charlie and Brooke. Since then I haven't looked back and I just love making parties special.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
I can't really pick one particular event as they have all been fantastic. I've had events for weddings, birthdays, Christmas and Corporate clients. One birthday party though was Halloween themed and they had some of the best guests ever and after the party she sent me a note saying "Best magic mirror man ever." I've since done booths for her friends too.
