What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
At Minted Limited we travel within a 40-mile radius of DA11 9QY for free, anything over this is a £5 per mile return charge, therefore, we must know the postcode of the venue. To ensure we bring enough ink and paper for our client it is important we know an approximate number of guests attending the event. Also are any personalised props needed as this is an additional charge. Minted supply bespoke premium packages which are sectioned into four categories. Kids Package, private, corporate and wedding Package, therefore, we need to know what the event is for us to choose the correct package for you, the client. Sometimes with a corporate event, our clients only want digital prints which can cut costs so this is important to know beforehand. What time and date of the event as everyone knows if driving in rush hour or driving through a busy street carnival with no parking anyway will undoubtedly result in extra charges. What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
The photo booth industry is becoming saturated with DIY booths which include inexpensive equipment and software making the overall result less desired to the client. We started this business as it is fun, we love meeting and making people happy for their special occasions. It is perfect for getting people to interact more. We love creating memories for our clients and excitement for children. Fun, interaction and memories are so important today more than ever and we feel that it is actually a very important job to have.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
We are fairly new to this platform, therefore, we have not had that many completed jobs, although things are looking up and we now have two. Our first one was a 50th Birthday Party for a lovely lady in Langley. We actually received our first tip from this client and she also gave me a prop that was at the party for my future events. We have already recommended two other businesses to Add to Event and they are now enjoying their 5 credits, whilst we are quoting more potential jobs with our 40 soon to be 80 credits!!
