What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

Knowing the date of which you need me is extremely important. A lot of people will book magicians for weddings, which means I can be booked a year in advance.
Other important factors include:
- The age of the people attending the event.
- The number of people that will be there.
-Also what kind of magic do you want to see?

This is all important as it makes sure that I bring the most suitable magic for your event. For example, if I know a lot of kids will be there, I can bring the magic that they enjoy.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

If you're hiring a magician for any event, make sure you like their personality, and check if they seem fun.
After all, a magician is there to be an icebreaker for your guests, and he's there to make everyone enjoy themselves.
The best way to do this is to ask for a video of them performing to other people and to check out their website.
For a wedding, I would even go as far as to ask if you can meet them personally. After all, they are gonna be apart of one of the biggest days of your life. So it's important you have the right person

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

I first started taking magic to a professional level once I realise just how powerful magic can be as a form of entertainment.
I wanted to focus on up-close magic because most people have only seen magic on TV or on stage. Also, chances are they've seen a card trick their uncle did for them.
I wanted to show magic happening right under their nose. I wanted to show the impossible to people while giving them a personal feeling.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

I recently had my first booking for a New Years Eve party after joining about a week ago, and wow, what a way to start the new years.
The hosts were super friendly, and the guests were amazing. They were so happy with me, they emailed me asking to do monthly events. So this one event from Add to Event really is 12 events!!!
Looking forward to spending more time on this site, as even today I got booked for another event
