What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

We need to know the contact details of the person booking us, how many guests, the date of the event, what type of event it is and the time they want them to start from. we also need to know about the payment details, is there car parking available and the venue address. We will also need a secure room to get changed, leave our cases and if possible a tea or coffee each before we start.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Customers should look for someone who they can work with, offer excellent customer service and they need someone they can trust 100%. Customer trust is crucial. They need to check out the client's social media profiles, websites, their reviews and google them to make sure they are genuine.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

We started our entertainment business as we both love entertaining and we wanted to provide great entertainment which was professional, affordable, would wow our customers and provide lots of unforgettable moments and amazing photo opportunities as ‘Laurel and Hardy’. We wanted to provide a professional service and to satisfy our clients requests.

Robbie loves magic and is Chair of Southport Magic Circle so he certainly knows all about magic and illusions while I have been a member of the Laurel and Hardy Appreciation Society for 35 years and I was voted Ulverston’s best Stan Laurel Lookalike.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

We haven't had a booking through Add to Event yet, but we're looking forward to securing some bookings very soon. We would definitely recommend Add to Event to others as it will be a good way of getting regular bookings.
