What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

To Enable us to provide an accurate and comprehensive quote to a customer we require a brief explanation of the kind of event, the number of guests, number of guards required and also the times they are needed. We like to know if this is an Indoor or Outdoor Event and the requirements needed to fulfill the role.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

We would advise the customer to check through any information given to them and check to see if the company is legit, insured and capable of doing the job role they have asked for. Check reviews and check the equipment they are to provide. They should ask if the company quoting them are insured and that the guards they require have SIA badges (if this is a licensed event).

Perkins Event Solutions & Security is a Husband and Wife team-based business, with years of experience working in this field.
From working for other companies at events such as Glastonbury, Reading, Leeds festival to name a few, it was time to get a good strong team of our own to provide the services we were already doing.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

We have been booked on a few occasions from Add to Event and find this to be a good productive way of securing a job. We have done security mainly on weddings through this site but they have been very good and the information we received was exceptional and listed accurately. We have quoted for a few festivals in the security sector and hopefully again we will get some response from this.
