What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
To give the most accurate quote and understand exactly what the customer requires it is always great to know the date of the event, number of guests, if it is standing or fully seated, if a dance floor is required and if the venue is grass or hard standing.
With this information we are able to give the customer a good idea of what we can supply and a quote.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would suggest that anytime you are looking to hire a service in the events industry, take a look at the website for photos and details of the services provided.
Also I would recommend looking online and at social media for reviews and testimonials.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
We started LEX Marquee Hire back in 2013 after many years of working in the industry. We have set our aim to provide a quality and professional service. We also offer a wide range of services and accessories as well as a personal touch to ensure the customer has the perfect party/event.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
We have supplied our marquees to a number of brides and party planners through Add to Event. After submitting a quote the customer then lets us know if they would like a free site visit to discuss the booking in more detail. We always offer a free site survey to all bookings/enquires to ensure the event is perfect.
