For us to provide a comprehensive quote we need to know how many people will be at the event, where the event will be, what the event is and if there is a kitchen with water. From these details we can work out what equipment we would need and the time scale the event would need, as well as how many staff would be needed to complete the event.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I would firstly ask about the type of work the company undertakes, if they are registered with the local council and what rating they received. Ask where they purchase their ingredients - are they locally sourced? Are they top quality?

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

2 Hearts Catering is a family run company which is run by a husband and wife team. I started the catering side of our company a few years after I met Craig. When I was at school all I ever wanted to do was to work with food; I loved the idea of working but wanted to work for myself so when the opportunity came up for me to start the catering side I jumped at the chance and have never looked back. I started off very small by just covering buffets, hog roasts & BBQs but after a while i started getting more and more enquiries so I decided to take the plunge and expand. I have never looked back and love what I do!

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

I have only just joined Add to Event, but I have been very pleased with the amount of enquiries I have received since joining Add to Event. I have two meetings this week to talk through the quotes I have sent over with an outlook to confirming the booking!
