What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
To enable us to provide a comprehensive quote for a mobile bar or marquee we would please need to know the event date and location and what type of event will be happening. With marquee enquiries, as well as knowing how many guests there will be, we need to know whether you want guests seated or standing. Finally please let us know, any optional extras you may be needing, such as welcome drinks or any furniture.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Get as many quotes as possible from different local suppliers to compare prices, ask for insurances and licences (all marquee and mobile bar companies should be able to provide this). Check if the company provide T&Cs forms as well as a hire contract (very important), the marquee and bar hire company should be able to answer all questions about their products and equipment and if not they will be able to find out for you. Look for reviews and recommendations, cheaper is not always better!
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
We wanted to help people with their events and decided to start our own family marquee hire company in Hampshire. Starting this made us realise how much we love working in the industry and so we added the mobile bar element. We love meeting people and pride ourselves on going the extra mile to make their event special.
